They are recruited from within their own community and work with other police officers to reduce the incidence of crime in their community. You'll be actively involved in a wide range of programmes and forums aimed at addressing key issues that affect your community. South Australia Police is currently recruiting Aboriginal people who meet the pre-entry requirements and can successfully complete the selection process to become community constables.
